Meghan Markle is losing her third close staff member in a matter months, raising questions about her ability to retain assistants.
Amy Pickerill, who has served as Markle’s assistant private secretary since last year, will leave her post once Markle and Prince Harry move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor later this month, the Daily Mail reports.
Pickerill’s departure adds to a growing list of staffers who bolted after less than a year working for the Duchess of Sussex.
Pickerill has served the royal family for 17 years. According to the British tabloid, she will leave and move “overseas.”
In November of last year, another one of Markle’s personal assistants, Melissa Touabti, quit after about a year assisting the former actress.
Samantha Cohen, also a close staffer of the former “Suits” star, announced her resignation in December.
Cohen previously worked as private secretary to the Queen, but left in 2017 to join Prince Harry and his now-wife.
Cohen will stay on staff until Markle gives birth to her fist child, who is reportedly due in April.
