Lori Loughlin expected to surrender after charges in college admissions scandal - Page Six

Actress Lori Loughlin is expected to surrender Wednesday on charges she and her fashion designer husband allegedly paid bribes to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California.

Loughlin, best known for her portrayal of Aunt Becky on the sitcom “Full House,” was shooting in Vancouver when FBI agents turned up at her Los Angeles home on Tuesday, according to TMZ.

They arrested her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, and made arrangements for her to surrender when she returns to LA on Wednesday.

Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 to college fixer William “Rick” Singer so their two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, would gain admission to USC as competitive rowing recruits — even though the girls weren’t athletes.

After news of the scandal broke, Loughlin deleted her Twitter and Instagram accounts. Her social media influencer daughter, Olivia Jade, was roasted on her own personal accounts for once bragging about cashing in on her college status and admitting she didn’t “really care about school.”

Giannulli was released after posting $1 million bond Tuesday, CNN reported.

He and his wife are charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
