How did Miley Cyrus really feel about those leaked photos from her secret wedding ceremony?
The “Wrecking Ball” singer married Liam Hemsworth on December 23 at their home in Franklin, Tenn.
While Miley did confirm the news herself a few days later, according to her sister Brandi Cyrus, the couple never intended for the public to find out through one of their guests before that.
“Whenever they’ve talked about getting married, they’ve always wanted to keep it very small and it just be the family and just be at the house,” Brandi explained on the January 9 episode of her “Your Favorite Thing” podcast with Wells Adams. “That’s always been what they wanted. Honestly, Miley’s only friend that was there was her best friend, Jessie, and Liam had a handful of his friends there that were there from Australia.”
They invited “a very, very small, tight-knit group of people,” Brandi continued. “Even with family and close friends, they still made a point to say, ‘Hey guys, this is a private thing for a reason. We love you all, but please don’t take photos.’”
One of Liam‘s friends, Conrad Carr, missed the memo, however, and accidentally posted some footage in his Instagram Stories. “He feels really bad,” Brandi said. “I didn’t really ask what happened, but I think from what he said, no one told him not to post about it, so he didn’t know.”
The verdict: Miley “doesn’t really care” that the public found out that way, Brandi confirmed.
