Kanye West might have been going off at Drake on Twitter Thursday night (Dec. 13), but Ariana Grande wants fans to look past all of that noise.
“Guys, i know there are grown men arguing online rn but miley and i dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u,” Grande tweeted.
Cyrus then logged on to support her fellow female pop star. “Didn’t they hear the news ?! War IS over ! Thank you , next!” she agreed.
A few hours later, Grande released her latest single “Imagine,” while Miley Cyrus dropped a cover of “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” with Mark Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon (John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s 42-year-old son).
Check out their messages below.
