Is Maroon 5 playing the Super Bowl halftime show? It looks like it.

Maroon 5, fronted by Adam Levine, is slated to perform the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show.

A report from "Variety" announced the headlining pick for Super Bowl LIII. The pop rock act follows Justin Timberlake's 2018 Super Bowl halftime performance.

The Feb. 3 game will mark the Super Bowl's first return to Atlanta in 19 years. That milestone has some criticizing the NFL for going with the Los Angeles-based Maroon 5 instead of highlighting the city's musical talent during the premier match.
