A man from Kentucky was forced to apologise after he dressed up his son as Adolf Hitler and himself wore a Nazi soldier costume for a Halloween family photo, Daily Mail reported. Brant Goldbach, who was wearing a Waffen-SS uniform, said that he regrets dressing up his five-year-old as the German dictator.

The incident, which created quite a buzz on social media, blew up when Goldbach justified the costumes by saying that his son loved dressing up as ‘historical figures shared’ and called out those people who approached him and threatened him during a local trick or treat event.
However, Goldbach faced backlash when people publicly shamed him and called him a “racist” and a “coward” on various social media platforms. Others also called him ignorant for celebrating Hitler and SS soldiers. The post was later deleted by Goldbach.

You dress your child as hitler like you proud of him but didn’t learn your child how bad was hitler and you don’t want your child to be like him ..😞

According to the news website, Goldbach who runs a jewellery store later apologised for his actions and claimed that he did not realise that the dress up would “stir so much controversy”. He went on to admit that he had not “thought the costume through” and admitted that it was indeed in “bad taste”.
